The solid instrument is designed for quality control applications in laboratories and in production facilities. This PPT-100+ instrument is designed for measuring tensile strength of soldered or solder-free cable joints with end sleeves, pins; solder pins or similar wire terminal components in accordance with all standards.
Depending on the standard the constant pull speed is adjustable. Test samples are inserted into the receptacle adaptor which has 12 different slot widths (from 0.5 mm to 6.0 mm) covering all the prevalent wire diameter and terminal types. Its simple operation allows the users to acquire reliable and reproducible test results.
The user inserts the wire terminal into the receptacle adapter, and the open wire end into the combined clamp pull device. The wire will be fixed into position, and then constantly pulled.
